Longtime Spokane referee Margie Ray officiated the 2017 NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship match between Nebraska and Florida as the up referee, Dec. 16 in Kansas City. This marks the fifth time in the last 10 years that Ray has officiated the championship match.

Two other Spokane officials made their marks on the NCAA tournament. Ben Goodwin served as line judge for the first and second rounds at University of Washington, and the third round at Stanford. Juli Argotow-Jones was line judge for the first round at UW.
